SuperCamp Adds Cornell to 2007 Campus Roster

Cornell becomes first Ivy League school to host SuperCamp's academic and life skills summer camps

Oceanside, CA on Monday, December 18, 2006 - Joe Chapon, Vice President of Quantum Learning Network, today announced that Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, joins seven other U.S. colleges as a host campus for SuperCamp 2007 summer camps.
Cornell College
SuperCamp is an intensive 10-day academic and life skills summer program for youth that makes learning interactive and fun. There are four different age/grade-specific program levels covering students entering fourth grade through college. Through a series of dynamic mental and physical challenges, the traditional perception of learning is turned on its ear at SuperCamp. The end result is that graduates improve their grades, increase their participation levels and measurably improve their self-confidence.

In making the announcement, Mr. Chapon indicated his pleasure in adding an Ivy League school to the SuperCamp roster of colleges. We are thrilled to add Cornell to our fine list of schools, said Chapon. Families in the northeast United States and in Europe, for that matter, who are looking for the SuperCamp experience for their children, will find Cornell to be an ideal setting. The other U.S. sites for SuperCamp 2007 are Stanford, Wake Forest, University of Washington, Colorado College, Claremont Colleges, California State San Marcos and University of Wisconsin-Parkside.

In 25 years, SuperCamp has graduated 45,000 students from 50 states and over 80 countries worldwide. SuperCamp was co-founded in 1982 by Bobbi DePorter, President of Quantum Learning Network. In the 1970s, Bobbi studied with Dr. Georgi Lozanov, the father of accelerated learning, which is the basis of the company's Quantum Learning educational methods.
