Academic Summer Camps

The

Academic Summer Camp

 that Gets Results

Welcome to SuperCamp! If you are looking at academic summer camps for your son or daughter, whether they're teen summer camps, pre-teen or kids' camps, or even summer enrichment programs for your incoming or current college student, then SuperCamp is for you.

Our summer enrichment camps make summer learning fun. Kids and teens gain valuable learning and life skills that help them in and out of school.

One big reason why so many parents choose SuperCamp over other summer enrichment and academic camps is our long track record of positive results. In a major study with over 6,000 SuperCamp graduates, the great majority reported increases in everything from grades to self-esteem, as the chart below illustrates:

SuperCamp launches in Turkey in late January with a Senior Forum program. Learn more on our International page.

Here are links to more information on our 2009 summer camps:

SuperCamp's teen summer camps and kids camp programs are academic summer camps and life skills summer camps in one.

As an academic summer camp, SuperCamp shows students how to learn and how to study, which gives them tools they can use in every subject at every grade level. As a life skills camp, SuperCamp creates a positive environment that helps to increase the self-confidence, motivation, and focus of participants.

Graduates return home ready to make things happen at school and in their lives.

Teen Summer Camps

Our popular Senior Forum teen summer camps are held at all eight of our U.S. college locations. Junior Forum, our kids camp for incoming 6th-8th graders, is available at six of our eight camps. Both programs fill up early every year, so check out all of our summer camp programs, including our Quantum U college success camp for incoming and current college students.

Summer Camp - Not Summer School

Students who attend SuperCamp discover right away that our summer camp in no way resembles summer school. The highly-trained SuperCamp staff is fun, engaging and passionate about what they do. At SuperCamp, there is plenty of music, "audience participation" and energy, all of which combines to promote maximum learning. Check out the 20 ways SuperCamp is not like summer school. Also, read how just 10 days at SuperCamp can help students achieve better grades.

College Prep

So much of what we do at our academic summer camps is directed toward helping students of all ages prepare for college. For example, we identify the learning style and learning strategies that work best for each student and we teach them learning-to-learn skills, which benefit them at every academic level. We also show them how to improve their reading speed and reading comprehension and how to study and prepare for tests more effectively. And our Senior Forum summer camps include sessions on ACT prep and SAT prep.

Real-Life Skills

While many parents want their sons and daughters to attend our academic summer camps in order to achieve immediate improvements in their grades, a number of them tell us afterward that an even bigger benefit of the experience has been the personal growth they see. Get a quick overview of the academic and life skills students acquire in just 10 days at our youth and teen summer camps.

Our Locations

There are eight SuperCamp academic summer camp locations at great colleges around the country. Get a complete list of our California summer camps, which include two Southern California summer camps, one at Claremont Colleges in greater Los Angeles and the other at Cal State San Marcos in San Diego. Our Northern California summer camps are once again being held at Stanford, where we offer four sessions of our Senior Forum teen summer camps.

In the Northwest, our Washington summer camps are located in Seattle at the University of Washington. A little farther east, our Colorado summer camps at Colorado College in Colorado Springs include our Quantum U and Leadership Forum summer camp programs, as well as Senior Forum.

Our Midwest summer camps again will be offered at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. The response from families throughout the midwest was incredible in 2008, our first year at Drake, as they loved the convenient location and beautiful surroundings of our summer camp at Drake.

Once again, we have two academic summer camp locations in the eastern U.S. Our New York summer camps are at Cornell University, our first Ivy League school. And our popular North Carolina summer camps are located at Wake Forest in Winston-Salem. Both of these locations fill up very early every year.
