Middle School Summer Camps
Junior high school is a challenging experience with classes and teachers becoming more demanding. Students often find themselves struggling to find out who they are, what they're good at and what group of friends they fit in with.
At SuperCamp's Junior Forum middle school summer camps, kids entering grades 6-8 discover their individual learning styles and develop skills for dealing with a heavier academic schedule. They also learn how to participate in "real-life" activities that enable them to make responsible choices and win the support, understanding and guidance of teachers and parents. And, of course, they will make friendships with students from across the country and the world, discover their talents and strengths and prepare for their transition into high school.

Junior Forum's junior high school camps are also a great bridge into our Senior Forum teen summer camps, where Junior Forum grads can build upon their learning and life skills fundamentals and personal character development by continuing to explore SuperCamp's 8 Keys of Excellence.
Our middle school enrichment camps are available at most of our camp locations, giving parents many options from which to choose.
A Foundation of Leadership
Junior Forum provides students with a foundation of leadership skills that will begin to help them immediately in academic group projects and extra-curricular activities. The 8 Keys of Excellence are the cornerstone of the Junior Forum leadership training. These eight core character principles help campers gain a grasp of who they are and what they stand for, which is a key aspect of becoming a good leader. In addition, they spend the entire week in a dynamic group environment, alternating between a large group and smaller teams, where each person has an opportunity to apply newly-acquired communication and interpersonal skills.
Another important leadership trait that students learn at Junior Forum is the concept of “living above the line” or taking responsibility for one’s own thoughts, feelings, words, and actions. This characteristic of “Ownership,” one of the 8 Keys, is a quality found in all successful leaders, who know that respect is gained by leading by example.

Anita, SuperCamp grad parent
"My son never seemed interested in getting good grades. When he did homework he did not bother to turn it in. He had high A's in tests but zeros in homework. After SuperCamp he has not missed a single assignment. SuperCamp was worth every penny we spent."
Connie, SuperCamp grad parent
"This is the first time in history that my son ever got straight A's! He is using memory techniques, Quantum Reading and note-taking skills. I am proud! He is proud!"
