SuperCamp Office Coordinators are responsible for assisting the Site Administrator and for many of the clerical functions of camp that support parents, other staff, and correspondence with QLN. Their competence with Microsoft Office is paramount and creates a high level of efficiency on site, which supports all other administrative aspects at camp. Office Coordinators possess the following qualities:

Job Description

Before Camp

Training

Participate in on-site training led by Site Administrator.

Manual

Thoroughly read and review the Office Coordinator manual.

During Camp

(Please Note: These tasks are some of the office specific tasks that may be delegated to you by your Site Administrator)

Supplies

Set up office space, office supplies, and office equipment.

Arrival

Assist the Site Administrator in coordinating and organizing camper and staff arrival according to schedule.

Transportation

Assist the Site Administrator in managing transportation to and from the airport

Paperwork

File and organize staff and camper records/paperwork.

Coverage

Maintain office coverage during breaks as assigned by the Site Administrator.

Organization

Support the Site Administrator with the organization of camper and staff check-in, food service, rooms, transportation, and check-out.

Office

Ensure office is open and phone is answered from 8:00AM-8:00PM (or duration of shift) each day of camp.

Messages

Take and relay messages for Site Administrator and Site Counselor.

Errands

Run camp-related errands using camp rental car.

Documents

Produce all camper and staff related documents, including name tags, mailing labels, and camper directories.

Camp Breakdown

Inventory

Assist with camp breakdown, storage, and shipping of materials back to Oceanside.

Job Requirements

Qualities

Education

High school diploma or GED (college experience preferred).

Proficiency

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.

Communication

Professional in your written and verbal communication.

License

Possess a valid driver’s license.

Team Player

Team player and hard worker.

Fitness

Able to lift 20 lbs.

Age

21+ years of age.

This position is paid an hourly wage.
