OUR COVID-19 PLAN

Dear Parents, As we’re sure you are, we are following the daily updates on the Coronavirus and the impact on all of us. You may be one of those now working from home and managing school closings. The duration is unknown, and from history as well as reports from China, we should see a peak, then improvement before too long.
CAN WE STILL COME TO CAMP?
Summer is more than three months away. We are anticipating and preparing for a safe and inspiring program. Now more than ever, there is a need for students to look forward to being in a place of joy and learning. Now more than ever, we believe SuperCamp is the perfect place for students to be themselves, interact with others, and focus on their future. Our programs are currently still scheduled for their original dates and locations. Our mission is and has been for more than 38 years “To create environments and resources for lifelong learning and personal success.” We are pleased to be able to serve in this way, to provide what many students say is the best experience of their life!
ENROLL WITH CONFIDENCE
We have added flexibility to our normal procedures. You can enroll now for SuperCamp and be assured you have options. We have extended the date for the non-refundable deposit amount of $750 to April 30th. Also, up to two weeks before the start of your session:
  • You can change to another session at no charge.
  • You can transfer your enrollment to another student.
  • You can roll over your enrollment to the following year at no charge.
  • You can cancel and we retain your deposit. (Unfortunately, we still have to pay the site.)

CAMP INSURANCE
As an additional resource, we’ve included information on AM Skier, the go-to summer camp and travel insurance broker. AM Skier connects families with Square Mouth. Through Square Mouth, families can search for a Standard Plan, with medical insurance and trip interruption coverage. With the “Standard Plan,” they also offer a “Cancel for any Reason” add-on benefit. This is a layer of protection that covers cancellation due to sickness with COVID-19 or cancellation if families have a fear of contracting COVID-19. Here are links to AM Skier and Square Mouth: – AM Skier – Square Mouth We continue to talk with our university partners, colleagues, and experts, and connect with government agencies (CDC, County and State Health Depts.) to receive updates and additional information. We will alert families regarding any site-specific updates. We live by our 8 Keys of Excellence, and we promise you we will act with integrity. During camp we will follow all suggested procedures for safety and hygiene, in addition to our normal practices. Our camp families and our staff are most important to us. We will be in touch with you with any information that might impact you, your children, or the overall SuperCamp experience. We remain flexible, positive, focused on gathering as much information as possible, problem-solving and keeping in touch with you whenever necessary. We look forward to a much-needed summer experience for all of us! If you have any questions we haven’t answered here, please contact us at 800-228-5327 or by email at [email protected]. We’re happy to help! Sincerely, Bobbi, Joe, and the SuperCamp Team
